A couple of years ago, I had my nephew scan in some old pictures from Yugoslavia.
This is me at age … no idea to be honest.
The picture was taken in a photography studio. The stuffed toy wasn’t mine. Which made me sad when I heard.

I was a solemn little girl.
Very cute but pouting, which is even more cute.
LOL
Thank you,
My pleasure, dear friend.
It’s fantastic to see old photos. I have some cousins who are scanning photos of my father from when he grew up in Fiji. It’s fascinating to see what life was like for him in the 1930s and 1940s.
We don’t have a lot of pictures from the Old Country, mostly from my mom’s side, and some have no names/dates on them. She knew who they were but my brother and I don’t. Very little from my dad’s side of the family. A picture of my uncle is about it.
I wonder why they didn’t try to make you laugh or smile? The photos I have of my Dad are usually solemn too. Probably not happy times.
I was just amazed that we went to a photography studio.
