Carbs are Comfort

Sometimes thoughts come to mind that make you go hmmm…..

In our world of low-carb/no carb diets, suddenly there’s a shortage of bread, flour/yeast and people who wouldn’t have thought of EATING bread in the past, let alone BAKING it, are learning how. Even sourdough.

What a topsy-turvy world we live in, in the days of Covid-19.

  1. I’m sticking with a low carb life but I was surprised to see all the olive oil gone, yet other vegetable oils in abundance. I like using Queensland nut oil because it has a high vapour point.

    1. I can’t say that I’ve looked to notice. I use extra virgin olive oil for some things and still have about 1/4 cup left in my bottle. Maybe I should check things out. πŸ™‚

    1. Yes, thank you.

Cooking up a storm. Over eating. Made a new sourdough starter … rye flour. Cause I was bored. πŸ™‚

Hope all is well with you and yours.
