The Incredible, Edible Egg (Revisited)

Is your cupboard a little bare? The paycheque not quite stretching to the end of the month?

The egg is a great ingredient around which to plan a meal and the price can’t be beat.

    1. Sounds like a great budget dish. Do you use a spaghetti/marinara sauce that you’ve spiced up or more of a Mexican type salsa version to cook your eggs?

      1. Just tinned tomatoes with olive oil, onions and garlic and then either chilli flakes or harissa. I prefer the harissa version but either tastes good.

  1. I grew up eating ketchup on scrambled eggs – I don’t know anyone else but my family that does this, and strangely, I don’t use ketchup on anything else – not even french fries or hamburgers!

That torte looks amazing! Everything does! 🙂
